Protective Workshop Area

We are able to provide protective opportunities to our Beneficiaries to increase their capacity through training and placement opportunities in the open labour market and self-employment. We empower them with different skills to generate income as well to encourage personal growth, self-esteem and restore their dignity. We run the following programs:


Abet Monday-Friday. Two Educators seconded to from the Gauteng Department of Education.


- Beadwork
- Woodwork
- Gardening
- Weaving
- Looming


Protective Work


- To promote self-representation of persons with disability working in the workshop.
- To provide protective workshop opportunities to people with disabilities
- To increase their capacity through training and development opportunities for integration into the open labour market and self-employment.


Beneficiaries are encouraged to participate in the abovementioned skills. Some of our completed products are sold to parents and the community at large.


Residential Facility/Hostel

At present we are licenced to accommodate twenty-three (23) Beneficiaries, with two (2) full time Housemothers. These beneficiaries stay at the residential facility and goes home once a month. We provide three meals for them on a daily basis prepared by the house mothers. During the day, the beneficiaries enjoy programs offered in the various workshops. The housemothers pride themselves by making the beneficiaries feel they are at home away from.


Profound – Day Care Facility

Profound – for severely disabled children – Day Care Facility. We are licensed to admit twenty-five (25) beneficiaries for this Unit. Beneficiaries in this area need twenty-four-hour supervision and attention. The caregivers assist them with feeding and stimulation as guided by their daily program. They attend on a daily basis and follow a daily programme. Admission age from 8 years old.
