Protective Workshop Area
We are able to provide protective opportunities to our Beneficiaries to increase their capacity through training and placement opportunities in the open labour market and self-employment. We empower them with different skills to generate income as well to encourage personal growth, self-esteem and restore their dignity. We run the following programs:
Abet Monday-Friday. Two Educators seconded to from the Gauteng Department of Education.
- Beadwork
- Woodwork
- Gardening
- Weaving
- Looming
Protective Work
- To promote self-representation of persons with disability working in the workshop.
- To provide protective workshop opportunities to people with disabilities
- To increase their capacity through training and development opportunities for integration into the open labour market and self-employment.
Beneficiaries are encouraged to participate in the abovementioned skills. Some of our completed products are sold to parents and the community at large.
